A leading manufacturing company in St. Louis, Missouri, is seeking a Trade Specialist to manage trade compliance and logistics. Responsibilities include advising on regulations, conducting audits, and maintaining relationships across departments. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, 5-8 years of experience in trade compliance, and exceptional communication skills. This role is open to remote candidates based in the US.
As part of a cross functional team, the Trade Specialist will support all inbound and outbound shipment regulations, support Nidec Traction business units with the duty reduction procedures and qualification of origin for Free trade Agreements. Must be familiar with trade, customs and commerce laws of Noth America. Specialist will be responsible for prioritizing tasks, supporting expected cost reduction activities, managing day to day trade compliance activities and reporting costs. Open to remote candidates based in the US.
