Job Description

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Software, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Experience with developing and debugging source code in C / C++.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Familiarity with software development processes.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Must have a valid Canadian driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Mechatronics, Software, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with embedded software architecture design.
• 3+ years of experience with MATLAB / Simulink / Stateflow.
• Experience with chassis-related domain experience (e.g., steering, tire & wheel dynamics).
• Basic knowledge of controls theory.
• Experience with testing methods and techniques (TDD and BDD).
• Experience in developing real-time embedded control systems.
• Hardware I/O level controller knowledge.
• CAN and LIN communication protocol knowledge.
