• Define the x402 protocol standard for internet-native payment solutions
• Build and maintain x402-related products such as the x402 SDK and on-chain payment protocols
• Collaborate with open-source contributors to evolve the standard through discussions and code reviews
• Work closely with frontend engineers to ensure seamless integration of backend systems
• Contribute to the development of scalable and secure software solutions

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on backend development
• Proven experience in building scalable and secure software and SDKs
• Proficiency in Golang, Typescript, and Python
• Familiarity with Web3 technologies, stablecoins, smart contracts, and wallets
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

• Experience with AI and emerging AI protocol standards (MCP, A2A)
• Track record of building and maintaining impactful open-source projects
• Previous experience in the cryptocurrency space
