What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design, build, and maintain backend systems for stablecoin pay-ins, payouts, deposits, and withdrawals
- Serve as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for key projects, ensuring accountability from design to production
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions
- Integrate stablecoin functionality into core products by working closely with various teams across the employer
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong, inclusive engineering culture
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering
- Proven experience building and operating large-scale backend systems, ideally in fintech, payments, or crypto
- Strong proficiency in backend technologies (e.g., Go, Java, or similar) and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP)
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and system design
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive projects end-to-end as a DRI
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience working with stablecoins, DeFi protocols, or on-chain payments
- Familiarity with smart contract platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Solana) and related developer tools
- Contributions to open-source crypto or blockchain projects
- Experience building multi-chain or cross-chain applications
- Interest in or experience with tokenomics or digital asset infrastructure
