Airbus North America Digital is looking for a Virtual Desktops Infrastructure (VDI) Product Owner (PO) in support of the Digital Workplace Domain, Devices & Service s Team.

The resource must be allowed to work in Canada or in the United States. The resource is expected to work on-site at minimum 3 days per week.

Primary responsibilities include:

● Follow operational activities on Computers (Physical, Virtual) for North America

● Focus on efficiency and availability of the product environment

● Liaise with VDI technical experts in Europe and North America to coordinate resolutions of incidents and major crisis

● Oversee the prompt resolution of VDI tickets by the subcontracted support team

● Set up continuous improvement and automation process taking care of business continuity and user experience

● Guide business to select the most relevant Virtual solution according to needs and the solution catalog

This role will work under the responsibility of the NA DW Devices & Services Team Lead, with guidance and oversight technical experts in Europe.

Activities

The Services to be provided by the NA DW VDI PO include all relevant tasks and activities which are necessary to accomplish the expected objectives of any product delivery:

● Set up operational reporting

● Tracking and reporting on operational performance.

● Drive continuous improvement & synergies between Physical and Virtual computer products ● Ability to analyze and improve operational processes.

● Assist with the implementation of new processes and procedures

● Manage partner and Subcontractor

● Proceed to escalation as required

● Support preparations of Steering Committees

Inputs and/or Dependencies

● Airbus GPP NG Project Methodology (Agile)

● ServiceNow or equivalent IT Service Management tool

Skills

Required skills:

● Bachelor/ Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field with 3-5 years of service management & process automation experience

● Good knowledge of IT operation (ITIL knowledge) with a user centric or business approach. o Incident & Problem management

● Capacity Management

● Demand management

● Understanding on Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VMware/Omnissa Horizon, Citrix, AWS..)

● Be part of a multi-functional team to improve Physical and Virtual computer services and processes

● Experience working in an infrastructure technology environment highly desirable

● Be User experience oriented

● Need to have Sound knowledge in ServiceNow

● Need to have basic understanding on Agile methodologies

● A negotiation level in English is mandatory

● Good communication skills, capacity to drive the change and manage stakeholders

● Like collaborative and team spirit work, innovative, with a good sense of curiosity and desire to learn for yourself and others.

● Naturally have the ability to synthesize, structure and vulgarize highly technical topics with a sense of details and passion for solutions and technologies that solve problems

● Technical curiosity and willingness to learn

● Quality oriented mind set

Preferred Skills:

● Experience on Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VMware Horizon, AWS..)

● French knowledge will be an added advantage

La ressource doit être autorisée à travailler au Canada ou aux États-Unis. Une présence sur site d'au moins 3 jours par semaine est attendue.


Responsabilités principales :
● Suivre les activités opérationnelles des ordinateurs (physiques, virtuels) pour la région Amérique du Nord.
● Se concentrer sur l'efficacité et la disponibilité de l’environnement produit
● Collaborer avec les experts techniques VDI en Europe et en Amérique du Nord pour coordonner la résolution des incidents et des crises majeures
● Superviser la résolution rapide des tickets VDI par l’équipe de support sous-traitée
● Mettre en place des processus d’amélioration continue et d’automatisation en tenant compte de la continuité des activités et de l’expérience utilisateur
● Guider les métiers dans le choix de la solution virtuelle la plus adaptée selon les besoins et le catalogue de solutions
Ce rôle relèvera du responsable de l’équipe NA DW Appareils & Services, avec l’encadrement et le soutien des experts techniques en Europe.

Activités

Les services fournis par le Gestionnaire de Produit VDI (NA DWP) incluent toutes les tâches nécessaires à la réalisation des objectifs attendus de toute livraison de produit :
● Mettre en place un reporting opérationnel
● Suivi et rapport sur les performances opérationnelles.
● Favoriser l’amélioration continue et les synergies entre les produits informatiques physiques et virtuels

● Capacité à analyser et améliorer les processus opérationnels.
● Aider à la mise en œuvre de nouveaux processus et procédures
● Gérer les partenaires et les sous-traitants
● Procéder à l’escalade si nécessaire
● Soutenir la préparation des comités de pilotage

Entrées et/ou dépendances

● Méthodologie projet Airbus GPP NG (Agile)
● ServiceNow ou outil de gestion des services IT équivalent

Compétences requises :

  • Diplôme de niveau baccalauréat ou maîtrise en informatique, en ingénierie informatique, en technologies de l’information ou dans un domaine connexe, avec 3 à 5 ans d’expérience en gestion de services et en automatisation de processus.

  • Solide connaissance des opérations informatiques, notamment des principes ITIL, avec une approche centrée sur l’utilisateur ou les besoins métier :

  • Gestion des incidents et des problèmes

  • Gestion de la capacité

  • Gestion de la demande

  • Gestion des événements

  • Gestion des connaissances

  • Connaissances de base des infrastructures de postes de travail virtuels (VMware/Omnissa Horizon, Citrix, AWS…).

  • Expérience du travail en équipe pluridisciplinaire dans le but d’optimiser les services et processus liés aux postes physiques et virtuels.

  • Expérience en environnement technologique d’infrastructure fortement souhaitée

  • Être orienté expérience utilisateur

  • Bonne connaissance de ServiceNow requise

  • Compréhension de base des méthodologies Agile requise

  • Un niveau d’anglais de négociation est obligatoire
