Job Summary

We are looking for a Network Administrator to support, maintain, and optimize Groupe Dynamite's network infrastructure across our corporate offices, retail locations, and cloud environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the availability, security, and performance of our network systems, with a particular focus on Fortinet, Extreme Networks, and wireless infrastructure. You will work closely with the Technical Support and Security teams to deliver reliable connectivity and seamless user experiences.

Main Responsibilities
  • Configure and maintain the network infrastructure, including Fortinet firewalls, Extreme Networks switches, routers, and wireless access points;
  • Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to ensure high availability and reliability;
  • Implement and maintain network security policies, firewall rules, VPN configurations, and segmentation strategies;
  • Perform proactive maintenance, firmware upgrades, and patch management for network devices;
  • Assist in the design and rollout of new network projects, including store openings, office expansions, and cloud integrations;
  • Troubleshoot complex network incidents and coordinate with vendors or service providers as needed;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, including diagrams, inventories, and change records;
  • Collaborate with IT Security and Technical Support teams to support incident response, monitoring, and access control initiatives;
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical network issues after hours.
Qualifications
  • Education: Diploma or degree in Computer Networking, Information Technology, or a related field;
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in network administration or an equivalent technical support role;
  • Hands‑on experience with Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer);
  • Proficiency with Extreme Networks switches and wireless systems;
  • Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, routing, and switching;
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and security best practices;
  • Experience with SD‑WAN, network segmentation, and VoIP setups is an asset;
  • Knowledge of cloud networking concepts (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus;
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • Detail‑oriented, organized, and proactive;
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies;
  • Availability for occasional after‑hours support.
