The RN is responsible for coordinating, assessing, planning, providing interventions, and evaluating care, utilizing the current Standards of Practice (RN College of Nurses of Ontario), in accordance with hospital goals and objectives, for assigned patients.

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Current Basic CPR certificate (BCLS) required.
• Minimum one year of experience preferred.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP course and/or certification preferred.
• EKG/Dysrhythmia interpretation skills are an asset.
• Good communication skills, non-judgmental manner, team player.
• Good assessment skills.
• Intravenous/venipuncture skills and certification.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Crisis Intervention skills.
• Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position.

• Provide assistance and relief for all areas as required.
• Maintain flexible work hours.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Willing to work the current 12-hour shift rotation.
• Regular and sustained attendance is essential.
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned.
