Our client is an award-winning international engineering consultancy, currently undergoing rapid growth.

They are looking for a Lead Structural Technician with BIM / Revit & AutoCAD skills, required immediately to supervise a team of technicians from the Dublin office.

Projects include education, healthcare, commercial office, housing, life science & leisure projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervising a team of structural technicians, managing their workload and assigning tasks and duties according to the priorities of the structural engineering team.
2. Assisting the Structural Team on the BIM and draughting aspects for a wide range of projects.

Requirements:

1. Full proficiency in BIM / Revit & AutoCAD required.
2. Proficiency in CADS RC.
3. Capable of managing multiple deliverables to tight deadlines via supervision of other technicians.
4. Track record in managing a small team of technicians.
5. Capable of self-management and willing to be fully responsible for their design deliverables.
6. Experience in preparation of structural engineering drawings/models.
7. Experience working within a BIM environment.
8. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
9. Flexible approach with the ability to multi-task and prioritize when necessary.
10. Positive outlook and approachable manner.
11. Must be a proactive and motivated self-starter.
12. Capable of working as part of a team.
13. Good knowledge of Civil & Structural engineering consultancy.
14. Knowledge of resource management tools such as Microsoft Planner or similar.
