DIVISION OVERVIEW:
Crown’s Beverage Division manufactures a variety of packaging solutions for soft drinks, craft beers, coffees, and teas as well as new energy drinks. Crown Beverage leads the packaging industry with innovative technologies that redefine how the world looks at beverage cans. WORK SCHEDULE:
Continuous 12 hours, 4 days on 4 days off for 2 weeks then rotate.

COMPENSATION:
Starting rate is $45.18, annual increases as of September 2.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Perform all functions of the electrician.
2. Receive and analyze all types of electronic circuits, wiring diagrams, schematics, and drawings as required to inspect, install, repair, adjust, calibrate, construct, overhaul, modify, or service all types of electronic devices and systems.
3. Plan details of working procedure for such equipment to determine material or replacement needs and select a logical approach to troubleshooting and repair problems.
4. Make sketches of parts and layouts; design and construct adaptations or conversions of component parts.
5. Disassemble, inspect, adjust, repair or replace faulty parts and wiring, and reassemble all types of electronic devices.
6. Inspect, test, and adjust electronic equipment for safe and proper operation.
7. Plan and perform work requiring a thorough knowledge of electronic and electrical principles, wiring specification codes, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of equipment.
8. Prepare ladder diagrams for programmable control systems.
9. Record existing electrical drawings or make separate sketches of any modifications or additions to electrical circuits made during the performance of duties.
10. Replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, motors, and position sensing devices.
11. Maintain and troubleshoot pressco camera systems.
12. Maintain and update records of repairs, calibrations, and tests. Use computer to store and retrieve records/information.
13. Make daily entries into the shop log book.
14. Report any signs of potential unsafe conditions or downtime due to electrical equipment deterioration.
15. Secure designated electrical cabinets by lock or seal, as applicable.
16. Advise production supervisor immediately upon completion of the job that operation of equipment can resume.
17. Start up, monitor operation, report malfunction, and shut down all apparatus room equipment when so licensed.
18. Start up and shut down gas-fired ovens when so requested.
19. Keep assigned area clean and hazard-free.
20. Ensure that all safety equipment, devices, and guards are properly used and in place at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS:
442A or 339A Electrician License mandatory.
