EY’s multidisciplinary Business Tax Incentives (BTI) team, part of our Business Tax Services practice, specializes in credits and grants related to discretionary incentives, sustainability, capital investments, and scientific research and experimental development (SRED). We are a diverse group of professionals working with companies of all sizes across various industries to maximize their tax benefits and achieve their business objectives. We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our Calgary team.
The opportunity
As a BTI Sustainability Manager, you will develop expertise in tax policy and understand Canada's clean energy transition, focusing on the Government of Canada's Clean Economy Investment Tax Credits (ITCs). You will help companies navigate and maximize these incentives, such as the refundable 30% credit supporting clean technology adoption like PV systems, wind energy, and energy storage. Your role involves assessing project eligibility, optimizing tax strategies, and contributing to Canada's clean energy initiatives.
