Evergreen Seniors Home is hiring a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for a full-time summer position (June–September) in Campbell River, BC, with the potential to extend.

We’ve got a fully furnished 3-bedroom home just a few doors from the care home, available to rent for $1,800/month. It’s ideal if you're looking to immerse yourself in the experience without the stress of short-term housing.

About the Role:

At Evergreen, nurses are the calm, the guide, and the glue. Your role will focus on:

Supporting new residents and families as they transition into care Exploring what matters most to each person—their goals, fears, and what makes them feel safe Helping normalize signs of aging and preparing families for what’s ahead Thinking ahead to predict and prevent complications before they happen Leading psychosocial care planning with consent, dignity, and clarity Providing mentorship and steady leadership to a dedicated care team

We are a locally owned, 64-bed care home that provides long-term, respite, transitional, and hospice care. Our focus is on comfort, dignity, and care that feels human—not institutional.

Wage:

LPN - 32.84 – 43.31 (after 15 years)
RN - 41.42 – 63.99 (after 15 years)
