Food & Beverage Manager – Jasper Forest Park Hotel

Full‑time position based in Jasper, AB. Pursuit Collection is an attractions‑led hospitality company that connects people to iconic destinations. The Food & Beverage Manager will lead restaurant and retail operations, ensuring exceptional guest service while driving profitability and maintaining safety and sustainability standards.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Oversee all day‑to‑day operations and logistical organization while increasing sales and profitability.
  • Consistently deliver exceptional guest service standards and drive guest and employee experiences.
  • Create and nurture an environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and passion for service.
  • Anticipate key issues, discuss performance and functions, and implement solutions that enhance performance.
  • Assist in monthly forecasting, reporting, and budget development to maximize revenues and control costs.
  • Participate in the budgeting process for all outlets, managing forecast, inventory, and operating costs.
  • Provide leadership and coaching that fosters problem solving, teamwork, accuracy, speed, and improved business practices.
  • Make employee and guest safety a cultural cornerstone to maintain reputation as an industry leader.
  • Manage all F&B daily operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.
  • Establish partner‑like relationships with F&B Shared Services and assimilate company strategy and performance metrics.
  • Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels, using social media and Guest Satisfaction Surveys to drive improvement.
  • Recruit, train, develop, hold staff meetings, schedule, and submit payroll for all hourly employees.
  • Plan and execute functions, manage ordering, inventory, stock‑taking, and invoice coding through Centerviews.
  • Maintain the inventory management system and ensure daily accuracy.
  • Promote “Promise to Place” by ensuring sustainability and respect within the community.
  • Maintain core standards as developed by F&B Shared Services.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 3 years’ experience in hospitality and travel industries.
  • Proven food and beverage management experience.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, restaurant management software, and POS systems.
  • Up‑to‑date with food and beverage trends and best practices.
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.
  • Experience with best‑in‑class operating systems, training, staff development, and operational management of large, complex operations.
  • Expertise in building relationships and collaborating with all organizational levels, including operating teams and line supervisors.
  • Ability to create a culture of “fellowship” by modeling core values and best practices.
  • Inspiring teams to drive speed and performance within the organization.
  • Experience with financial management and establishing strong employee and guest satisfaction.
  • Broad experience across F&B activities, meetings, events, and functions.
