Job summary
A leading company in Belleville is seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Technician to uphold the highest quality standards in food manufacturing. This role requires a diploma in Food Safety/Quality Assurance and significant experience in a similar environment. - Knowledge of BRC, CFIA/FDA regulatory requirements.
- Experience with HACCP and internal auditing.

Job Description and Criteria required:
- Enforce QA program through communication with production personnel in the plant;
- Problem solve & trouble-shoot product quality issues;
- Monitor staff and surroundings for good manufacturing practices (GMPs);
- Monitor thermal processing program and work directly with retort team and on-site thermal processing authority
- Experience with implementation of record keeping – completion of FS/QA forms and related paperwork and related data entry;
- Knowledge of BRC, CFIA/FDA regulatory requirements;
- Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, BRC, and internal auditing
- Reporting directly to the Quality Assurance Supervisor;
- Completing microbiological, chemical, allergen and physical product testing and required documentation;
- Perform pre- and post-operational inspections on equipment;
- Product research and development;
- Coordinating documentation from suppliers
- Monitor thermal processing program and work directly with retort team and on-site thermal processing authority
- Other duties as required by the Management team.
