Job summary
A residential development firm in Toronto is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee accounting functions within their residential development portfolio. The ideal candidate has at least 5-8 years of experience in construction/job cost accounting, with strong knowledge of financial procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining financial records, generating reports, and managing construction projects. This role offers an opportunity to work in a diverse and inclusive environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-8 years real estate construction/job cost accounting experience.
- Excellent knowledge of construction cost accounting and related financial procedures.
- Experience with financial statements and year-end working papers preparation.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger and annual working paper files.
- Generate quarterly financial reports and monthly project reports.
- Develop and maintain construction management system.
