Qualifications

  • Accounting certificate is required.
  • Advanced knowledge of French is necessary.
  • PCP designation is an asset.
  • Up to 5 years of relevant accounting experience is needed.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and processes is essential.
  • Experience with accounting software is required.
  • Experience preparing T4 and T5 slips is considered beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and update government remittances and filings, accounts receivable, expenses, and payroll transactions.
  • Prepare client files for review.
  • Perform month-end and quarter-end close processes.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies and errors.
  • Respond to information requests from government entities.
  • Work collaboratively with the engagement team.
  • Travel as necessary for engagements.

Accounting certificate
