Your Opportunity
As a Geotechnical Engineer EIT, you will be a member of a multidisciplinary team working in energy and resources, primarily on metal, coal and large oil sands mining projects. Work will include various stages in the project life cycle, from exploration and site investigations, through conceptual design, construction, closure and reclamation. Our geotechnical project work typically involves design and evaluation of mine waste structures including pit walls, mine rock and tailings storage facilities, and surface water impoundments.
Applicants must be prepared to travel and be in the field for assignment intervals of 2 to 3 weeks at a time. This role is classified as full-time employment with benefits with an estimated 37.5 hours per week.
