Across five countries are 1,100 engineers, designers, and consultants collaborating to elevate the human experience, create more resilient communities, and protect the health of the planet. We transform the built environment by creating dynamic solutions — living systems — that are smart, resilient, and connected.

At Introba, this is why we show up every day. To use our curiosity for good. To inspire change. To empower changemakers

Introba provides world-class building engineering design, analytic, and consulting services at all scales, specializing in net-zero first thinking. Job Summary

As a Principal, Electrical Engineering at Introba, you will be a visionary leader helping shape the future of sustainable infrastructure across Ontario and Eastern Canada. You will lead a high-performing team delivering mission-driven projects in education, healthcare, science & tech, and civic sectors—while contributing to innovation, mentorship, and meaningful client relationships.

You will initially integrate with an established team of 6 electrical designers and engineers, ranging from Junior Designer to Senior Principal. Your mandate: double the team in size and revenue by 2029 through sector growth and operational excellence.

  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.

Operational Excellence

  • Set and manage project budgets, team revenue targets, and labour forecasts.

  • Monitor financial and operational metrics (e.g. WIP, write-downs, productivity).

  • Maintain team compliance with Introba’s QA/QC and best practices.

  • Ensure project plans and progress are maintained in Deltek (Introba's PM system).

Client Engagement & Business Development

  • Serve as principal liaison for key clients and high-profile projects.

  • Develop and secure new project opportunities in both core and emerging sectors.

  • Support and promote Introba's full multidisciplinary service offering.

  • Resolve client issues and lead contract negotiations as needed.

Technical & Design Leadership

  • Provide oversight on technical quality and delivery for all electrical systems.

  • Guide teams through procurement strategies and cost management.

  • Oversee construction contract administration and field reviews.

  • Promote technical innovation in smart building systems, energy optimization, and sustainability.

  • Financial Performance: Project write-downs ≤5% of annual NSR; Profitability meets/exceeds annual targets

  • People & Culture: Regrettable turnover ≤10%; Minimum 2 team members promoted/year

  • Operational Compliance: AR DSO ≤75 days; 90%+ of projects updated monthly in Deltek

Qualifications & Experience
