Enerflex offers a dynamic team to build and work on some the largest and most advanced natural gas compression, gas processing, electric power generation and carbon capture equipment in the global energy industry.

Reporting to the Spooling Supervisor, the Pipefitter role is to fit and align pipe that meets ABSA and Enerflex, Ltd. Standards. The individual will be a Journeyman/ Apprentice who has a continual focus on safety, cost control, meets and maintains Enerflex’s quality expectations to ensure customer satisfaction when performing the duties of the position. You must also have experience producing quality work with attention to detail in order to meet and exceed customer’s needs.

With a foundation of integrity, the candidate would use commitment and creativity to drive our organization forward. This position is based out of the Enerflex’s facility in SE Calgary.

Evening Shift: 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM, 4 days a week

• Read and interpret isometric spool sheets, P&ID and specifications drawings.
• Select type and size of pipe and fittings required by applicable spool sheets.
• Bench fit pipefittings, flanges and pipe from 1” – 24” diameter of various pipe schedules.
• Tack Welding to join fittings and pipes to fabricate complete spools for piping systems.
• Use your experience to fit spools in the proper sequence for roll welding.
• Flame cut openings for attachments in pipe walls.
• Participating in, accepting and adopting the safety principles

• Possess a valid Alberta Journeyman Pipefitting Certificate with Interprovincial Red Sealed Journeyman Pipefitter Certificate is preferred or enrolled as an Apprentice Pipefitter, with relevant experience
• 1-2 years of directly related work experience
• Experience with butt weld fitting a requirement
• Possess excellent communication, organizational and people skills
• Ability to work overtime
• Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment health assessment including a drug and alcohol test.
