Job summary
A leading retail corporation in Bowmanville is seeking individuals to process freight and maintain stock levels for optimal customer service. Responsibilities include placing merchandise according to standards, collaborating with teams, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. The position requires candidates to be at least 18 years old. The minimum pay starts at $17.75 per hour, determined by relevant experience.

Responsibilities
- Process freight to maintain high in-stock levels for customer service.
- Place merchandise correctly according to company standards.
- Collaborate with teams for accurate freight processing.
- Maintain modular integrity and cleanliness in the department.
- Assist with unloading/receiving overnight deliveries as needed.
- Keep work area clean and free from hazards.
- Follow safe work habits as per company policy.
- Ensure backroom standards are maintained.
Process freight to achieve a high in-stock level for optimum customer service.
- Places merchandise on the correct counter and space according to company standards including pricing.
- Works with other teams in accurate processing of freight.
- Works with Merchandise Team during modular changes.
- Maintains modular integrity by keeping modulars clean and zoning the department(s).
- May assist with unloading/receiving overnight deliveries.
- Keeps the work area clean and hazard free by disposing of trash/boxes quickly.
- Follows safe work habits as per Company policy and procedure.
- Maintain backroom standards, e.g. ensure egress are not blocked, rocket carts are placed appropriately.
The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.75. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
