Senior Product Analyst, Healthcare Data

In this role, you will drive the data modeling implementation to enable healthcare products and analytics initiatives for Shoppers Drug Mart. Working closely with the Team Lead, Healthcare Data, you will be diving into data sources from across the organization to implement a modernized and integrated data model that enables the organization’s healthcare initiatives. The successful candidate is driven to not only explore and understand raw data but also to build robust data solutions to enable a broad range of analytical capabilities. We are looking for people that are passionate about what they do and want to progress their career as part of a cohesive, forward-thinking team.

What You’ll Do:
  • Leverage data management knowledge and skills to design and deliver cloud-native data models in GCP
  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders to map business requirements to data model designs
  • Collaborate with key data and technology stakeholders to identify raw data sources and gain a firm grasp of underlying data granularity and definitions
  • Derive the data curation logic required to build the healthcare data model and collaborate with data engineering teams to put into production
  • Create solution design documentation of the healthcare data model to support analytics and reporting use cases
What you Bring:
  • 2+ years of SQL experience with a deep focus in data exploration, curation, and manipulation that drive impactful analytical results
  • Demonstrated success working with data, including designing and implementing transformations and curation methodologies to enable analytical products
  • Take the initiative to navigate complex raw data assets and reach out to various stakeholders to build desired solutions
  • Strong ability to tie business requirements to technical data designs that enable current and potential future objectives
  • An extraordinary teammate and self-starter with strong detail orientation is important.
