En tant que développeur logiciel back-end, vos responsabilités seront de participer à l’analyse fonctionnelle des besoins en APIs de nos différents modules logiciels, ainsi qu’à la mise en œuvre de solutions et de leurs tests au sein de nos produits.

Dans une ambiance favorisant le partage et la créativité, vous collaborerez avec des experts dans le domaine de la simulation temps-réel pour fournir aux usagers une expérience immersive, en vue de l’amélioration du contrôle et de la visualisation de nos systèmes complexes.

• Concevoir et développer des APIs dans le langage Go entre différents systèmes logiciels (GUI, simulation temps-réel, logiciels externes) dans une approche d’intégration continue en suivant un haut standard de qualité;
• Participer au processus de sélection des technologies utilisées;
• Garantir le respect des règles de codage pour assurer la qualité et la maintenabilité du code;
• Participer à l’élaboration des requis intra et inter équipe.
• Collaborer étroitement avec les architectes systèmes et logiciels afin de définir et les API entre les interfaces graphiques et les systèmes de simulation.
• Participer à la maintenance et à la documentation des APIs;
• Participer au maintien d’une cohérence et d’une convergence entre les divers produits d’OPAL-RT.

• Scolarité : Baccalauréat en Génie informatique ou logiciel;
• Expérience : 1 à 3 ans d’expérience en développement logiciel;
• Connaissances requises : Expérience avancée en développement d’application web-based, APIs REST, Git, SQL (PostgreSQL). Une bonne maîtrise du développement avec Golang est requise;
• Connaissance des outils/librairies suivants (Atouts) : Python, WebSockets, gRPC, Node.js, MATLAB/Simulink;
• Connaissances linguistiques : Français obligatoire. Anglais niveau avancé (oral et écrit) pour la communication avec les collègues et partenaires hors Québec;
• Compétences recherchées : Faire preuve d’autonomie et d’initiative, posséder un bon sens de l’organisation, aimer travailler en équipe.

As a back-end software developer, your responsibilities will be to participate in the functional analysis of the API needs of our various software modules, as well as in the implementation of solutions and their testing within our products.

In an atmosphere that encourages sharing and creativity, you will collaborate with experts in the field of real-time simulation to provide users with an immersive experience, the goal being to improve the control and visualization of our complex systems.

• Design and develop APIs using the Go programming language to connect various software systems (GUI, real-time simulation, external software) within a continuous integration framework, following high-quality standards;
• Participate in the choice of technologies used;
• Ensure compliance with coding standards to maintain high code quality and ease of maintenance;
• Participate in the definition of intra- and inter-team requirements to ensure alignment and clarity;
• Collaborate closely with system and software architects to define APIs between graphical interfaces and simulation systems;
• Participate in the maintenance and documentation of APIs;
• Participate in maintaining consistency and convergence between the various OPAL-RT products.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer or Software Engineering;
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of software development experience;
• Technical knowledge: Advanced experience in web application development, including REST APIs, Git, and SQL (PostgreSQL). Solid proficiency in Golang development is required.
• Knowledge of the following tools/libraries (Assets): Python, WebSockets, gRPC, Node.js, MATLAB/Simulink;
• Language abilities: French required. Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) for communication with colleagues and partners outside Quebec;
• Soft skills: Demonstrated autonomy and initiative, strong organizational skills, and a passion for teamwork.
