Overview

6-month ServiceNow Developer contract working with a global enterprise organization as they expand their enterprise service management capability. 6-month contract ServiceNow Developer role. Role focus on cybersecurity modules. Global retail success story with remote work available.

Responsibilities

What & Why:

Due to growth our client is looking to add a Service Now Developer to their service excellence team. In this role you will collaborate closely with your team, cross-functional technical teams and global business partners, to develop comprehensive features and functionalities that enhance the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities. You’ll attend Agile ceremonies, develop features and enhancements based on requirements captured in stories, and conduct unit testing. You will also configure and maintain ServiceNow applications, catalog items, integrations, modules, and workflows, customizing only when necessary. This role is focused on cybersecurity and requires experience with Integrated Risk Management, Third-party Risk Management, Security Incident Response and Vulnerability Response.

  • Collaborate with team members and global business partners to develop features and functionalities on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Attend Agile ceremonies, implement features based on user stories, and conduct unit testing.

They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver but this role can be fully remote if you choose.

You

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

  • 3+ years of development experience in ServiceNow.
  • Strong scripting skills, experience with JavaScript.
  • In-depth subject matter expertise in these ServiceNow Modules:
    • Integrated Risk Management
    • Third-party Risk Management
    • Security Incident Response
    • Vulnerability Response
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is preferred.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification for any module is preferred.
  • Experience working with both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies.
Compensation

This role pays between $65-70 per hour.
