Senior Business Systems Analyst (Mutual funds)
Job summary
A financial services company in Toronto is looking to hire 2 full-time Senior Business Systems Analysts with specific experience in Mutual Funds or FundServ. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of relevant work experience, proficiency in .NET C#, SQL, and familiarity with multiple book of record systems. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, enhancing systems, and collaborating with business technology teams. Competitive compensation and opportunities for growth are offered.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role, ideally in the financial industry.
- Experience with brokerage book of record systems is an asset.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Software Development methodology, multi-threading, and Concurrency.

- Collaborate with architecture teams to design effective solutions.
- Debug and enhance existing systems, including ATON transfers and mutual fund records.
- Assist in preparing and testing new features for quality assurance.

We are looking to hire 2 full-time Senior Business Systems Analyst with specific Mutual Fund or FundServ experience. Book of record experience from Dataphile, ISM, BPS, ADP, IFDS iFast, or FNZ to join our technology teams and business partners to develop a cutting‑edge, next‑generation trade execution system and book of record. We are interested in speaking with you should you bring any past experience working in mutual funds space.
You will be asked to enhance our client management and trading systems.
- Gather and document requirements from business and technology teams.
- Collaborate with architecture teams to design effective solutions.
- Debug and enhance existing systems, including ATON transfers and mutual fund records.
- Assist in preparing and testing new features for quality assurance.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in .NET C# and SQL.
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, GIT, Jira and Atlassian tools.
- Experience with book of record systems (BPS, ISM, Dataphile, WinFund, Univeris, RPM).
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Software Development methodology, multi-threading and Concurrency.
- Must have 10+ years of relevant work experience in a similar role. Ideally in the brokerage/securities financial industry.
- Experience with brokerage book of record systems an asset.
- Experience interacting with the markets via CDS, DTC, FundServ, Cannex, Euroclear, Swift, etc.
Hands‑on C++, Java, React, Node.js an asset.
