Data Analyst - Governance

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data governance and data development, including expertise with ETL processes, Power BI or Microsoft Fabric. They should have excellent English language skills, exceptional presentation abilities, and fluency in Spanish. Additionally, they must demonstrate a proven ability to self-prioritize and work effectively with minimal supervision.

• 10+ years of experience as a senior contributor in a data-focused team.
• At least 5 years working with data governance, data management frameworks, cataloging CDEs, and managing data lineage.
• Minimum 3 years experience leading meetings and creating presentation decks for technical, business, and risk/compliance audiences.
• Skilled in summarizing complex processes and providing insights.
• At least 2 years of operational technology experience, with understanding of technology risk, resilience, and reliability concepts.
• 2+ years experience in IT operations or IT risk, including familiarity with ServiceNow or other ITSM solutions.

Education / Certifications :

• Certification in data or data management.
• ITIL V3 / V4 certification preferred.
• Certification in risk management.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.

Project Overview :

This role is ideal for a seasoned data analyst with expertise in delivering robust data solutions and repositories using advanced data governance technologies.

The primary focus includes defining the technology domain, identifying authoritative global sources of technology data, classifying data assets, cataloging critical data elements and their lineage, and maintaining high data quality standards.

The role requires a solid understanding of regulatory requirements related to data governance to support compliance with all regulatory and audit mandates.

The technology data management aims to optimize operations, mitigate risk, enhance resilience, and ensure reliability in technology management.

Work Environment :

• Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, 37.5 hrs/week, with possible overtime.
• Hybrid / Remote: Mostly hybrid, with the possibility of fully remote work 2 days a month, on Thursdays.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00 per hour.
