A regional healthcare provider in Grimsby is seeking a Hospital Support Assistant to support cleanliness and patient feeding services. Hospital Support Assistant

The closing date is 05 January 2026

We are seeking an enthusiastic team player to join us in our busy fast pace hospital environment.

You will support the cleanliness and patient feeding services within the hospital.

You will be based in our Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) department working 2.00 pm - 10.00 pm but may be required to work anywhere within the hospital. This is a contracted position working 26.25 hours per week on a 2 week rota basis which covers 365 days per year including weekends, Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year.

If successful, you will be required to complete an initial 4 week training period which is compulsory.

Main duties of the job
  • This post is arole designed to support all cleaning and catering duties within the hospital.
  • The post holder is a member of a team dedicated to providing and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene in accordance with the Trust's Standards of Cleanliness and Food Safety Legislation.
  • Working directly with team members, patients and visitors providing a safe and effective service.
