Our client in Niagara Region, ON is actively looking for a Senior Staff Accountant – Audit Focused to join their team.
Position Description :
- Lead audit engagements and mentor junior staff, fostering growth and expertise.
- Assist clients with their financial reporting needs, building strong, collaborative relationships.
- Ensure financial statements comply with GAAP and CAS, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Identify and resolve financial irregularities, using critical thinking to connect the dots.
- Communicate complex financial insights clearly, both in writing and in discussions with clients and team members.
- Prepare and review complex year-end financial statements, compilations, reviews, and audits, ensuring compliance and precision.
Skills & Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
