Our client in Niagara Region, ON is actively looking for a Senior Staff Accountant – Audit Focused to join their team.

Position Description :

  1. Lead audit engagements and mentor junior staff, fostering growth and expertise.
  2. Assist clients with their financial reporting needs, building strong, collaborative relationships.
  3. Ensure financial statements comply with GAAP and CAS, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  4. Identify and resolve financial irregularities, using critical thinking to connect the dots.
  5. Communicate complex financial insights clearly, both in writing and in discussions with clients and team members.
  6. Prepare and review complex year-end financial statements, compilations, reviews, and audits, ensuring compliance and precision.

Skills & Qualifications :
