Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an Electrical Engineering Technology program, or of a related Design/Drafting (CAD) program with relevant experience in electrical design.
• Registered as an Applied Science Technologist with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years experience in electrical design for mining, metallurgical, or similar process industries.
• Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and how to apply it in designs.
• Proven expertise using AutoCAD and 3D design/drafting, preferably AutoCAD 3D and AVEVA E3D.
• Everyday use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with databases is beneficial, preferably AVEVA AE.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player, but also able to work independently and take responsibility.
• Able to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks in a highly scheduled environment.
• Authorization to lawfully work in Canada without sponsorship from Wood is required.
