Job description
About the job you’re considering

Design & Build: Implement end-to-end GenAI features (e.g., RAG, agents/tools, function calling, multimodal pipelines), including scalable APIs and services.

Prompt & Model Engineering: Develop robust prompting strategies, fine-tune or adapt models (LoRA/QLoRA/PEFT), and optimize inference (quantization, caching, distillation).

Multi-Agent System Design: Build and orchestrate agentic workflows (planner, executor, critic, retriever) using frameworks like LangChain Agents or custom orchestration layers.

Agent Communication & Coordination: Implement protocols for inter-agent messaging, shared memory, and task decomposition strategies.

Tool Integration: Develop and register tools for agents (search, code execution, SQL, APIs) and ensure safe, efficient tool use.

Agent Evaluation: Create benchmarks for agent collaboration quality, latency, and success rate; implement fallback strategies for failed agent tasks.

Safety & Governance: Apply guardrails for multi-agent systems (e.g., preventing runaway loops, enforcing role boundaries, monitoring emergent behaviors).

Scalability: Optimize multi-agent orchestration for parallel execution, cost control, and reliability under high concurrency.

Retrieval & Data Layer: Stand up vector search and feature stores; design chunking, embeddings, and memory strategies for high-quality retrieval at scale.

Evaluation & Quality: Establish offline/online evaluation (A/B, rubric-based, golden sets, human-in-the-loop), automated regression tests, and guardrails (toxicity, PII, jailbreaks).

MLOps for GenAI: Implement CI/CD for models & prompts, model registry, experiment tracking, observability (latency, cost, drift, hallucination rate), and rollbacks.

Security & Compliance: Embed data governance, model risk, safety checks, and auditability; collaborate with Security/Legal for policy-compliant deployments.

Performance & Cost: Profile and tune latency, throughput, and cost per request; apply batching, prompt compression, caching, and architectural optimizations.

Collaboration: Partner with Product, Design, Data, and Platform teams; write clear technical docs and review code with high standards.

Mentoring: Coach mid-level engineers and data scientists; share best practices and patterns.
