About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic team player to fill the Workshop Technician vacancy located at our Perth Workshop. You should have a keen desire to learn and apply new skills as continuous employee development is encouraged at Konica Minolta.

Key responsibilities
  • Support the Workshop Supervisor with assembling/programming/running up of devices for clients (mainly printers of various sizes).
  • Ensure new devices are ready for collection at pre-determined times.
  • Support Field Service Technicians at the workshop or at customer sites as required.
  • Ability to conduct and be responsible for stock control.
  • Involvement in the recycling management of all workshop waste.
  • Contribute to the workshop workflow creation and management.
  • Contribute to a clean and safe work environment.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Applicants must possess a strong mechanical/electrical aptitude along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have a genuine interest in working with technical equipment where troubleshooting skills and a professional approach are required.
  • Self-driven and able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to multitask and prioritise workloads.
  • Able to take direction and use initiative (pro-active).
  • Desire to learn and apply new skills to progress with the company to a variety of technical roles.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office and basic software is desirable however not essential as on job training will be provided.
