Job Summary

The Vice President of Account Management – Foodbuy Member Development will lead Foodbuy’s efforts to grow and retain its member base by strengthening strategic relationships, deepening engagement, and tailoring strategies to member segments and tiers. The role oversees a team of account managers dedicated to enhancing member relationships, driving program adoption, and unlocking growth opportunities across diverse business segments.

Now, if you were to come on board as the Vice President of Account Management – Foodbuy Member Development, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Lead and manage a team of Channel Directors representing diverse business segments (e.g., Foodservice, Healthcare, Hospitality), ensuring alignment with Foodbuy’s member development strategy.
  • Develop and execute a member-centric account management strategy that drives growth, retention, and program adoption across all segments.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Design and implement programs that enhance member value and performance optimization.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand member participation in Foodbuy programs and services.
  • Serve as executive sponsor for key member accounts, ensuring strategic alignment and satisfaction.
  • Build trusted relationships with foodservice operators, distributors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor member performance metrics, program utilization, and satisfaction scores to drive continuous improvement.
  • Leverage data insights to inform strategy and personalize member development plans.
  • Partner with Sourcing, Category Development, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Technology teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Represent member needs in strategic planning and innovation initiatives.
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in account management, sales, or member services within the foodservice or hospitality industry.
  • Proven success in leading teams and driving growth through relationship-based strategies.
  • Strong understanding of foodservice operations, procurement models, and industry dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel to support member relationships and team development.
