This is a hybrid role based out of Waterloo. Hybrid is 3 days a week onsite, 2 days a week remote.

Role

As a UX Design Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of SAP’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) Cloud solutions. Your expertise will directly influence the design and development of user-centric, intelligent enterprise software.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Design Across the Product Lifecycle: Collaborate with UX Designers and User Researchers throughout the end-to-end design process — from user research, concept development, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes to design validation with customers and end users.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with colleagues in development, product management, customers, and partners to deliver engaging and impactful experiences for SCM products.
  • Advocate for End Users: Champion the needs and perspectives of end users, ensuring every design decision contributes to intuitive and meaningful experiences.
  • Drive Innovation: Approach problem-solving with creativity and passion, striving for better, simpler, and more engaging solutions to complex business and technical challenges.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Track emerging technologies and design practices, continuously exploring opportunities for innovation while maintaining a harmonized experience for users.
  • Foster Team Growth: Be self-motivated and believe in teamwork and cross collaboration.
What you bring
  • Experience: 3–6 years of experience designing user experiences for software applications.
  • Education: Bachelor’s, Diploma, or Master’s degree in Design from a reputed institute (preferred).
  • Design Expertise: Strong background in web and application design, with experience across the full design lifecycle — from user research through application design to design validation.
  • Innovation Skills: Experience designing business solutions that incorporate artificial intelligence or machine learning is a plus.
  • Tools Proficiency: Deep knowledge of design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Mindset: A keen eye for detail, strong critical thinking, and openness to giving and receiving feedback.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Meet your team: You will join the Supply Chain Management UX team, where you will design products that shape the future of business applications across the entire supply chain — from design to delivery. Our solutions leverage SAP’s industry-leading cloud technologies, predictive analytics, machine learning, and SAP Business AI to build end-to-end solutions that empower the SCM Products.

By applying SAP’s Design-Led Development process and working closely with our customers, you will co-create next-generation solutions that deliver immense business value. You will support strategic product teams in adopting emerging trends, seeding innovative concepts, and building harmonized user experiences that set new standards in the SCM domain.

Pay and benefits SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 74,600 - 156,800 (CAD).
