Qualifications

  • Fluent in English; French is a strong asset.

Responsibilities
  • Lead demand forecasting and finished goods capacity planning using historical data and trend analysis
  • Align forecast demand with supply and place purchase orders accordingly
  • Minimize backorders and plan product life cycles (launches/discontinuations)
  • Monitor inventory performance (back-orders, overstocks, slow movers) and suggest corrective actions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations
  • Track supply chain activities (order placement, transport, QC release, etc.)
  • Utilize ERP systems and Power BI tools for planning and reporting
  • Monitor KPIs: forecast error %, forecast bias, IBP compliance
  • Adapt planning based on production delays or technical constraints
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and uphold confidentiality of sensitive data
Required Qualifications
  • 2–3 years of experience in logistics or distribution, including 1+ year as a Demand Planner
  • Solid understanding of the S&OP process
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment (medical device or retail preferred)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Experience with ERP systems and data analysis tools
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional planning initiatives
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and balancing strategy with operational execution
  • Fluent in English; French is a strong asset
  • University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
Assets
  • Experience in medium-sized start-ups or entrepreneurial environments
  • Knowledge of medical device supply chain or commercial processes
  • Familiarity with Lean and Agile tools
