Minimum Requirements
  • 19 years of age or older
  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • No conviction of an offence under the Criminal Code, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act or Food & Drug Act for which no pardon has been obtained
  • Good character and habits
  • Valid unrestricted driver’s license
  • Medically fit to police force standards
  • Ability to pass the Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation (PARE) test to police standards
Recruitment Process

  3. Six‑step process for selected candidates:
    1. Submit required application package

    3. Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation (PARE) fitness testing
