Job description

The F&A team comprises multiple functions, including Financial Control & Business Performance Management, Procurement, Digital Transformation, Tax, Treasury, and Operations. Together, the team optimizes global finance initiatives and is detail-oriented while multitasking across various projects.

We are hiring a highly motivated Finance Manager for a highly visible role responsible for developing and maintaining financial operations and reporting to support our fast-paced growth.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead finance efforts proactively, ensuring compliance with Canada’s Securities regulations as per the National Instrument, and manage registration and exemptive relief decisions.
  2. Prepare Crypto.com Canada for CIRO membership, updating policies and procedures according to CIRO’s requirements.
  3. Provide regular updates to Senior Management on the compliance program.
  4. Ensure policies and procedures meet regulatory standards and are properly executed.
  5. Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain compliance.
  6. Prepare reports for Management and the Board of Directors.
  7. Handle quarterly and annual regulatory reporting.
  8. Assist with tax returns, financial audits, and related schedules.
  9. Automate processes to improve efficiency.
  10. Support global reporting by working with Crypto.com entities.
  11. Oversee cash flows, customer cash accounts, and related transactions.
  12. Review reconciliations, bank statements, and NetSuite reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

  1. 5-10 years of experience with regulations applicable to Crypto Trading Platforms.
  2. Experience with CIRO monthly/quarterly requirements and best practices.
  3. Resident in Canada.
  4. Knowledge of digital assets, securities, custody, and onboarding of digital asset FIs and CTPs.
  5. Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  6. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Attention to detail and procedural accuracy.
  8. Adaptability to change, ambiguity, and stakeholder management.
  9. Leadership, communication, and influence skills.
  10. Highly organized and process-oriented.
