Leopold's Tavern is hiring an Assistant Front of House Manager for our Broadway location. We are looking for someone to assist the Broadway General Manager in all daily operations, including driving sales, providing strong floor leadership, training, customer service and profitability. This person will support the supervision, guidance, growth, and development of our FOH team. Must have open availability and be able to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate a culture and work environment that supports the well‑being of our team and community
  • Temporarily assume the General Manager's duties during their vacation
  • Assist the General Manager with recruiting and training of all FOH employees
  • Help build a network within the local community and create a positive impact
  • Manage staff hours, scheduling, discounts, and promotions to maximize profitability
  • Ensure effective operation through strong communication between FOH and BOH
  • Assist in distributing tip-outs and verify cash-out discrepancies and deposits
  • Monitor wastage and respond to reviews and customer emails
  • Manage the floor during shifts and oversee daily communications (Yoobic posts, menu rollouts, LTOs, 86’d items, Untapped and group chats)
  • Daily credit card reconciliation
  • Work some supervising, serving, and bartending shifts
  • Ensure reservations are up to date
  • Assist in ordering and inventory (liquor, beer, beverages, etc.)
  • Maintain building upkeep and oversee 7Shifts shift swaps/trades
  • Ensure clear daily product communication (86’d items, Untapped)
  • Distribute GC’s and online ordering codes
  • Conduct initial interviews, issue verbal disciplinary notices, and provide follow-ups
  • Prepare daily/nightly reports to the General Manager
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of FOH experience
  • Ability to accept feedback and grow as a leader

  • Strong people skills with excellent problem-solving and independent thinking
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Good knowledge of Lightspeed and Microsoft Office; proficient with email

  • Ability to share knowledge with the team and exhibit positive floor leadership
  • Willingness to fill in for team members and ensure coverage
