What will you do?
  • The External Sales Representative is responsible for increasing sales to meet branch and company objectives.
  • Maintain and optimize strong relationships with existing clients while developing new client potential by offering effective professional solutions.
  • Provide quotes, technical assistance, documentation, and other forms of support or materials to clients.
  • Develop new sales opportunities by examining market opportunities and potential client needs, customizing products and services, and offering solutions.
  • Participate in setting branch sales goals and be responsible for achieving sales results (revenue, gross margin, account objectives, and monthly quotas).
  • Advise branches on competitive pricing to achieve desired margins while maintaining flexibility for acquiring large or new accounts.
  • Proactively communicate with branch management on all aspects of client partnerships, ensuring customer satisfaction and immediate resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with branch employees and provide feedback and recommendations on new products, services, and market conditions.
  • Participate in trade shows, training, and related meetings as applicable.
What will you bring?
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role with proven success in profitable sales or cold calling, preferably in wholesale distribution of products.
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales quotas and objectives.
  • Excellent time management and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Strong ability to work independently managing the territory and assigned accounts.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain solid relationships.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong organizational skills for prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.
