Catalyst Metals Limited (ASX: CYL) owns and operates the Plutonic Gold Mine in the Eastern Gascoyne region of Western Australia, producing approximately 85koz of gold annually. The Company also holds the Four Eagles Gold Project in Bendigo and is preparing to bring three new mining areas at Plutonic into production over the next 12–18 months.

As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for developing practical, executable production plans and delivering clear operational instructions to support production and cost objectives. To succeed, you will be a proactive, collaborative professional with strong communication skills and the ability to turn detailed engineering designs into effective, risk-aware production solutions.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
  • A current “C” Class Western Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the mining industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Deswik software.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A strong commitment to safety and risk management.
  • Adaptability to manage unexpected challenges and adjust plans and strategies as required.
