Position Summary

The Process Engineering group in the Advanced Imaging department is looking for a specialist experienced in process design and setting up advanced assembly equipment in a clean room environment. The role involves planning manufacturing process flows, designing processes, creating machine programs for wire bonding, die bonding, wafer dicing, and other assembly processes. The candidate will also contribute to process improvements, optimization, and quality assurance.

Qualifications
  • Engineering degree or technical diploma
  • Creativity, flexibility, adaptability
  • Knowledge of electronics assembly equipment and machine programming
  • Problem-solving skills, including FMEA and RCA
  • Organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with intricate mechanical, optical, or semiconductor device assembly
  • Technical documentation skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Statistical and data analysis skills (SPC, DOE, etc.)
  • Knowledge of semiconductor / electronics manufacturing
Assets
  • Understanding of optics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, material science
