Position Summary

The Process Engineering group in the Advanced Imaging department has an opening for a Process Engineering Specialist with experience in process design and the setup of advanced assembly equipment in a clean room environment.


The primary focus will be planning manufacturing process flows, designing processes, and creating machine programs for wire bonding, die bonding, wafer dicing, and other specialized assembly processes. The candidate will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, control methods, and quality assurance practices.


Position Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or technical diploma
  • Creative, flexible, and adaptable to novel situations
  • Strong knowledge of electronics assembly equipment and machine programming
  • Problem mitigation and solving skills, including FMEA and RCA
  • Organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with specialized assembly of intricate mechanical, optical, or semiconductor devices
  • Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation
  • Excellent communication skills and effective teamwork
  • Experience with statistical and data analysis, including SPC, DOE, factorial experiment design, and regression
  • Knowledge of semiconductor and electronics manufacturing methods
Assets
  • Knowledge of optics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and material science
  • Understanding of lithography techniques
  • Manual dexterity
