Pharmacy Manager – Full-Time, Permanent - Specialty Pharmacy - Winnipeg, MB - Healthcare

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba

Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 9am - 5pm daily

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with provincial regulations, company policies, and best practices.
• Provide exceptional pharmaceutical care and oversight to ensure patient safety and quality of service.
• Supervise and mentor pharmacists and pharmacy assistants, fostering a collaborative and positive team culture.
• Develop, refine, and implement pharmacy processes to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Partner with leadership on business planning and operational strategies.
• Oversee billing, reconciliation, and reporting processes to maintain accuracy and accountability.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to strengthen relationships and enhance service.
• Support the rollout of new initiatives and projects to advance business goals.
• Ensure timely reporting of adverse events in line with provincial and contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (minimum) and active registration with a provincial College of Pharmacists.
• At least five years of pharmacy practice, including a minimum of two years in a management or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations; specialty pharmacy experience is a plus but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to build processes and lead teams in a positive, engaging manner.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Kroll software preferred but not required.
• Comfortable working in an on-site, hands-on leadership role.
