Area of Work
Successful candidates will be seeing clients in North of Sarnia (Grand Bend, Lambton Shores, Forest, Arkona, Port Franks) and surrounding areas.
Availability
Successful candidates will be seeing clients within the availability of 1-9 pm, 8-8 pm or 7-3 pm and are required to work every other weekend.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide personal care service according to directions on the established care plan or assignment sheet, ensuring emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety of clients.
- Provide personal care within the provincial scope of practice for a Personal Support Worker; duties may include skin care, hair care, mouth care, bathing, bowel and bladder care, positioning and movement, exercise, basic wound care, feeding including special diets, and assistance with oxygen administration and medication reminders.
- Perform specialized, client-specific procedures for which recognized training and current competency can be demonstrated.
- Observe and document client conditions according to company standards; report unusual events or changes to the immediate Supervisor or Office.
- Understand and implement infection prevention practices.
- Competence in Samsung or Android device use and functionality; enter accurate data.
- Maintain confidentiality of electronic information and secure devices with passwords.
- Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities.
- Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
- Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company’s Quality Management System.
- Participate in proactive Health & Safety activities and notify Supervisors of any risks or concerns.
- Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information; discuss only with appropriate Bayshore personnel.
- Complete other tasks as requested.

Attributes
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
- French proficiency required for positions located within Quebec or where French is a service requirement.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.
Offer Details and Conditions
- Successful candidates may be required to provide: 2 supervisory references, a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening, and proof of being negative for TB.
