Job description

We are hiring for a full-time Operations Coordinator with experience in scheduling, operations, recruitment, and office administration. This is a terrific opportunity to take the next step in your scheduling and operations career!

Location: Terrace, BC

Salary: $55,000 to $65,000

What you would do:
  • Responsible for scheduling up to 2,500 hours of staff work per week, with a focus on minimizing non-billable overtime (NBOT) through creative and strategic scheduling solutions.
  • Travel up to 2 days per week as required.
  • Manage and oversee hourly employee information updates and general communications.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, security professionals, prospective clients, and Securiguard representatives (via phone, email, and in person).
  • Oversee the organization and coordination of office operations and procedures.
  • Manage recruitment activities from interview to first day worked; ensure employees complete site-specific training and certifications, and assist them throughout the onboarding process.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors/managers to address staffing, uniforms, certifications, and site supply needs.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed records and reporting.
  • Highly detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Perform other tasks and assignments as required by the branch manager or head office support staff.
What would you bring:
  • 2+ years of experience in operations coordination; or scheduling
  • Class 5 BC Driver's License and able to provide a clean driver's abstract.
  • BC Security License is an asset.
  • Assist with field-based work to support North Coast operations, including on-site coordination, client support, and alignment with company standards and operational goals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize information in a fast-paced environment.
  • Diploma or certification in a relevant field would be considered an asset but is not required.
