The impact you will have

The Operational Automation & AI Specialist plays a critical role in transforming operational processes through intelligent automation and AI. Reporting to the Director, Customer Success & Operations Improvement, this role is responsible for identifying tactical improvement opportunities and driving the design and deployment of scalable automated solutions that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and quality. The specialist will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external experts to deliver both immediate impact and long-term innovation. By automating manual workflows and applying AI to reduce turnaround times and improve reliability of outputs, this role will identify and champion transformational ideas that modernize operational processes and enable scalable growth.

What you will do
  • Develop and deploy intelligent automation tools to streamline operational workflows
  • Collaborate with leaders, subject matter experts, IT professionals, and external experts to understand business needs and apply AI technologies to enhance accuracy, reduce manual errors, and optimize operational outputs
  • Evaluate current workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements using automation and AI
  • Manage the automation project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and effective communication with all stakeholders
  • Track performance of implemented solutions, analyze results, and iterate to maximize quality/efficiency gains and implement enhancements and fixes as needed
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure successful integration of new tools, provide training, and support stakeholder engagement
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and trends in the automation domain, and recommend innovative solutions to meet business needs
What you bring to the table
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in automation, AI implementation, or operational process improvement, ideally within a complex or high-volume business environment.
  • Operational acumen with a proven ability to assess, redesign, and optimize business workflows for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate operational pain points into technical solutions and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and managing change in complex environments.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with a proactive approach to staying current on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
