A recycling company in Northwestern Ontario is seeking an individual to operate heavy motorized equipment such as forklifts and excavators. The ideal candidate will have a valid DZ driver's license and two years of experience in operating heavy machinery. Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, driving a DZ truck for deliveries, and maintaining safety standards at the work site. Operate and maintain heavy motorized equipment, such as forklifts and excavators, to safely and efficiently load and unload ferrous materials in various forms, including scrap metal and steel components. Drive a DZ truck to accurately pick up and drop off bins at designated customer locations, ensuring that all pickups and deliveries are completed on schedule. Work in close collaboration with the scale operator and office staff to coordinate the unloading process, ensuring that customers' materials are handled promptly and effectively. Monitor and manage the flow of traffic in and out of the yard to prevent congestion, facilitating a smooth and efficient operation. This includes directing vehicles as needed and communicating clearly with both customers and team members to uphold operational standards and safety guidelines.
