You excel at building relationships and networking with businesses and individuals. You are confident and skilled in taking initiative, assessing requirements, developing plans and taking the lead in turning plans into reality. You demonstrate your business development skills in setting and monitoring targets, plans, pipelines, and activities.
As an expert in commercial and agriculture lending policies and procedures, lending reports and related/developing technology, you are able to monitor the competitive environment for product and delivery trends. While remaining current with competitive product trends and emerging technologies you ensure necessary regulatory and compliance guidelines and measures are followed.
The primary purpose of this position is providing financial solutions to the commercial and dynamic agriculture sector and delivering unforgettable service to existing and new business members. You identify and pursue opportunities to promote other business services and noncredit products. You will grant commercial and agriculture loans, mortgages and operating lines of credit for business purposes within lending limits and submit recommendations for credit.
Successfully developing business and managing commercial and agriculture portfolios in the region is critical. You will manage a portfolio of business with lending needs within your region which involves annual reviews of the risk and profitability of each member’s account. While supporting actions to improve the growth and development of the loan portfolio, you will support branch managers in obtaining new business opportunities, as well. You will also work with the Director of Commercial & Agriculture Experience to prepare budget objectives, monitor and coordinate activities to achieve budget objectives and profitability.
Other tasks include analyzing and reviewing loan requests and applications, financial statements, overdraft reports, lending reports, member lists, and commercial accounts.
