The Role :

Our Retail team is seeking a Back of House Coordinator for our upcoming Robson Street location! Join our rapidly growing and developing team at JD Sports Canada. This role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance your operations skills and expand your knowledge and experience in retail stock management. As a Back of House Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of the JD Sports team.

Key Duties / Responsibilities :

• Support Front of House associates with in-store customer requests.
• Manage daily operations of the stockroom, ensuring accurate labeling, logical placement, neat arrangement, and cleanliness.
• Contribute to retail profitability by accurately receiving, handling, and managing merchandise inventory in a timely and organized manner.
• Oversee end-to-end daily e-commerce sales processes, including processing, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders.
• Communicate daily with customer service and store teams via Slack and email.
• Reduce store shrinkage by investigating inventory discrepancies and resolving issues to maximize sales.
• Utilize the inventory system daily for stock management.

Skills / Experience / Knowledge Needed :

• At least 2 years of retail or stockroom experience required.
• Experience with Shopify platform is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and task-oriented mindset.
