Overview

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The main object and purpose of this position is to achieve ALC’s sales vision while promoting safety, quality, awareness and compliance with company policies. The incumbent gathers information to develop a market strategy, manages and plans the territory to maximize profitability, writes proposals, negotiates contracts, maintains and grows services to customers, secures relationships, and supports the team to achieve objectives.

Responsibilities

Prospect the territory and analyze markets to develop a market development strategy, identify competition, locate and call on prospective customers, initiate and maintain business relationships, and develop local markets for new applications.

Manage and plan the territory by developing a business plan and sales strategy, organizing activities to generate profitable growth, forecasting sales and profitability, and regularly using CRM to plan, schedule and report activities with customers and leads. Maintain accurate profiles of customers and leads in CRM, establish selling prices within company guidelines, manage accounts and competition, and develop new applications related to ALC’s products and services.

Develop proposals by establishing commercial proposals and negotiating contracts, writing clear and professional proposals that respond to customer needs, presenting proposals and negotiating with customers.

Sell and negotiate by understanding the customer’s decision-making structure, processes, and needs; using need-satisfaction selling to gather a complete picture; obtaining commitments and closing in steps; sharing information with Accounts Receivable regarding credit status and financial viability.

Ensure customer loyalty by developing loyalty strategies, acting as the primary contact between the customer and ALC, identifying and solving problems, and building long-term relationships with a focus on future needs.

Participate in teamwork, understand roles within the team, support and train colleagues, share information, and collaborate with other departments.

Acquire and upgrade knowledge and competencies, maintaining a professional image and expanding knowledge of ALC’s products, services, industry, and processes.

Are you a MATCH?

Minimum 2 or 3 years of experience in industrial sales.

Diploma: College diploma or bachelor’s degree in the field of application.

Training: Selling skills, Quality System (ISO).

  • Knowledge: Computerized systems, MS Office, products, services and applications, contract law, financial management basics
