A leading software development firm based in Brazil is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing new features and enhancing existing functionalities on mobile applications for a video streaming platform. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in JavaScript and React Native, strong teamwork skills, and a focus on agile development. Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in JavaScript and React Native mobile app development.
- Experience in streaming mobile app development for iOS / Android and TV Platforms.
- Strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Implement new features and enhance existing functionalities for streaming video products.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and architects.
- Provide on-call support for production issues.
Skills
Our Client is one of the largest TV providers in North America and we are searching for a Senior Software Developer to join our team. The project focuses on developing mobile application for video streaming platform.
You will be implementing new features and enhancing existing functionalities on client applications to support streaming video products. This includes estimation, design, development, testing, and documentation.
Collaborate with other software engineers, product managers, and architects in a cross-functional environment to ensure functions and performance meet customer requirements in a cost-effective and maintainable way.
Provide on-call support, including monitoring, triaging and resolving production issues
- Proficient in JavaScript and React Native mobile app development (5+ years) as well as at least one of the following : Java / Kotlin or Obj-C / Swift
- Streaming mobile app development experience with iOS / Android and TV Platforms
- Strong teamwork focus and the ability to foster collaboration within and across teams
- Experience with agile development
- Good verbal / written communication skills
- Experience with a CICD development environment
