Remopt is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer – IP / Datacom to design and implement advanced IP solutions such as IPRAN, IPCORE, and Metro Networks. This role is key to ensuring high-performance, secure, and scalable network infrastructure in complex environments.
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, testing, and migrating network services, integrating Huawei and multi-vendor equipment, and developing automation scripts. You will also prepare technical documentation, perform PoCs, and support R&D teams in validating new technologies.
- Design and implement IP solutions (IPRAN, IPCORE, Metro Network, DCN).
- Plan, validate, and migrate network services with minimal downtime.
- Create and review RFCs and operational procedures (MOP).
- Integrate Huawei and multi-vendor equipment into existing networks.
- Support testing, validation, and PoC activities with clients and R&D teams.
- Perform software upgrades on network elements (NEs).
- Develop automation scripts and tools using Python and VB.
- Collect and analyze data (licenses, KPIs, alarms, databases).
- Prepare technical documentation and operational guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, IT, or related field.
- Solid knowledge of routing protocols: OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS, L2/L3 VPN, IPv6, QoS, CGNAT, Multicast.
- Hands-on experience with Huawei and/or multi-vendor equipment.
- Desired certifications: HCIA/HCIP/HCIE, CCNA/CCNP/CCIE.
- Experience in scripting and automation (Python, VB).
- Knowledge of network maintenance, migration, and expansion.
- Advanced English (mandatory).
- Experience in high-complexity environments.
- Familiarity with integrating new equipment into existing networks.
- Strong communication skills for technical and client interactions.
- Knowledge of network monitoring and KPI analysis tools.
