A leading cryptocurrency exchange is looking for a customer support representative to manage inquiries and assist clients with account issues. This remote role demands proficiency in both Portuguese and English, along with a strong background in customer support tools like Zendesk. Candidates must be adaptable, able to work weekends, and skilled in handling high-pressure situations. The ideal applicant should have a good understanding of trading terminology and user communication styles in Brazil.

- Ability to learn derivatives trading terminology quickly.
- Experience in finance or customer service is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries via live chat, email, and other channels.

- Handle customer inquiries via live chat, email, and other channels regarding accounts, trading, payments, etc.
- Assist customers with KYC verification, account security setup, and dispute resolution.
- Accurately document and elevate customer issues, collaborating with technical teams for complex cases.
- Stay updated on futures trading rules and promptly communicate platform announcements / risk alerts (training provided).
- Adapt to shift schedules (if required) to ensure coverage during target market hours.
- Willing to work weekends and irregular hours which will include night shifts.
- Have an online customer support experience, and proficiency in tools like Zendesk / LiveChat.
- Fast learner, able to master derivatives trading terminology quickly.
- Patient, resilient, and skilled in de‑escalating high‑tension situations.
- Familiarity with Brazilian / Portuguese user communication styles; finance or customer service experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English is essential.
